Target Practice

The topics in this passage has Thanksgiving with a hint of runs like hell. This is just one of the many odd ways my family likes to spend our days together. This entry is 100 words.

Target Practice

Stuffed from our Thanksgiving Day feast, my uncles, cousins and I sprawl out over the couches. Already bored by the football game and the gossip of the mothers, Uncle Fresh whips out the Nerf Guns. Chester, the family dog, trots into the living room.
“Anyone up for some target practice?” asks Uncle Jimmy.
Uncle Bill shouts, “Whoever hits the dog the most wins!”
Shots fly out in every direction. Chester runs like hell for the nearest available room to hide out in. Without a target we relax, once again bored.
Then Uncle Johnny says, “Maybe we should use the bunny.”
